Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Most well-known is her role as anchorperson on CNN's At This Hour morning show. Her previous roles included cohost of the CNN Monday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is a member of CNN's prestigious presidential election coverage for 2012. She has also served as an official correspondent for the congressional office in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan was the Capitol Hill Unit member when she was a reporter for the congressional calendar, including events like the discussion of raising the limit of federal credit or deliberations by the super committee. Her general assignment work has included stories on Christmas Day, the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the government's stimulus plan in 2009. She was appointed a CNN Newsource national reporter in 2007. As a national correspondent she covered breaking news and feature news to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliates.
