She's covered sports for the biggest outlets around the globe. She spent almost a decade reporting on the sport for The Washington Post, including football, tennis, and basketball. In 2004, Nichols moved on to ESPN for a nine-year run during which she was awarded two Emmy Awards and appeared on some of the network's most popular shows, such as SportsCenter and NFL Countdown. She also served as a sideline journalist for the Monday Night Football broadcasts. Next, she moved on into CNN sports and then Turner.
