Alex Flanagan
She studied at in the University of Arizona as well as Salpointe Catholic High School, both of which are located in Tucson. She has worked for The NFL Network, as an anchor/reporter. For NBC Sports she is a reporter on the sidelines of games like the Notre Dame Football home matches as well as Football Night in America. Flanagan is heard and seen during her channel during the Madden 10 or Madden 11 video games, where she hosts an in-game weekly recap show alongside Fran Charles. Alex is from Sonoita, Arizona. Her husband is the former University of Arizona basketball player Kevin Flanagan. The couple have two daughters as well as a son. Alex's family owns the Arizona steak restaurants "The Steak Out" (located in Sonoita) and Dove Mountain. Flanagan began her journalism career during college as an intern for KVOA-TV. Her first reporting stint began in sports in 1998. She was a reporter and anchor for NBC Sports as well as NFL Network, ESPN and Fox Sports. Furthermore, she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority. Flanagan's first job in TV was working as a Saturday anchor and general assignment reporter at KCCO-TV, Alexandria, Minnesota following her graduation. As part of this job, she worked for WSFA-TV Montgomery Alabama.
