Tom Selleck-1-1024x1005With the 1997 Horizon Award, the Congressional Award in Washington DC honored me. The Horizon Award is a special recognition by the Joint Leadership of the United States Congress and the Congressional Award Board of Directors. The Horizon Award is given to people working in the private sector who have worked in enhancing opportunities for all Americans. It also honors those who have set extraordinary standards for the next generation of young people with their achievements in their lives. Tom was an excellent partner and friend. He enjoyed playing with such a skilled and experienced team, and would practice hard whenever his Magnum schedule permitted ..... He was accommodating to all of us and we enjoyed the large crowds which replaced our usual small number of couples and friends for the national tourney games. ".
